It's been too long in the offing but procrastination (from moving from where I'm presently sitting, no less) has finally made it happen.

I was trying to make this a quickie post, but then I went and (attempted) to finish my end-of-year list of lists of things I have seen/listened to/read LIKE A BOSS . It is by no means complete- I'll likely edit this at random intervals. I need to start on these things earlier. My posts throughout the year are of only minor help:

So You Can See The Way
Been the usual in the week- work, home, comics, readin' the new Dresden File... and of course, a few films. Saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Saturday night while my parents were seeing The Ghost Writer a few blocks away to my delight. Not Sure if She's There
Would that there was more to talk about, but as it is, it's mostly quiet on the Western front. Big news at the moment is that I've got an interview at San Francisco's own Cartoon Art Museum (in just 11 1/2 hours, yeek!) for an internship. Locked by the Force
I finally finished the sixth Dark Tower book today. The ending was a little jumbled, but overall, it's amazing how he can pack so little action into so many pages and still make it so engrossing. The epilogue bits were also fairly morbid. Dunno why he feels like the series never should have been properly completed, it's an amazing accomplishment. ( Read more... ) -
Many balls are in motion, but not my own.
So about two weeks ago I picked up the fairly recently published 5th part of the Youth in Revolt series- the books follow the escapades of one Nick Twisp, a young lad going through puberty, as he tries to do what anyone that age really wanted to do- get laid. Tingle to His Bones
A late start this morning combined with a lack of breakfast provisions led me to head over to O'Farrell's, the local donut place, where I procured a chocolate french and Caramel Fudge Oreo ice cream.
